A homeless woman has been charged with a felony count of grand larceny after the alleged theft of more than $1,500 worth of goods from the Beckley Hobby Lobby.
According to the criminal complaint, Ashley Elaine Crisp, 22, was arrested by a member of the Beckley Police Department on March 20, after Crisp was seen placing items into a cart and leaving the store without paying for them.
Upon arriving at the scene, the officer found Crisp with the stolen property. The total amount of goods stolen amounted to $1,737.84.
Crisp is currently at Southern Regional Jail on a $10,000 bond.
