Six sex offenders have been arrested as part of a joint law enforcement effort led by those with the West Virginia State Police-Rainelle Detachment.
According to West Virginia State Police Sergeant Steven A. Murphy, commander of the Rainelle Detachment, throughout the month of May, officers conducted compliance checks on all registered sex offenders in the area. After completion, officers obtained warrants on those who had failed to register as sex offenders.
On Thursday, June 3, members of the West Virginia State Police-Rainelle Detachment, along with F/Sgt. Evans and Corporal Mann with the Lewisburg Detachment and Deputy Hyatt with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department served warrants on the individuals.
The following sex offenders were arrested on eleven charges:
Dairol Tincher, 62, of Rainelle; Marty Kratohwill, 54, of Charmco; Rodney Redden, 44, of Clintonville; Roma Lee Goins, 39, of Crawley; Travis Frame, 32, of Rupert; and, Eddie McKinney, 35, of Clintonville.
One person was out of town and will be arrested upon his return.
“This is another step forward in making our community a safer place,” said Murphy. “We want citizens to know that we are looking out for them, and we want criminals to know that we are watching.”
